CRAFTING VISUAL STORIES
Grant Osborne is a 3D designer and creative director working across motion, design, and visual storytelling. His work centres on building visual ideas that are both technically crafted and conceptually clear. Whether designing a single moment or an entire visual system, the focus is always on creating work that has intention, personality, and a strong visual backbone.
Grant approaches projects from both sides of the process — shaping the creative direction while staying deeply involved in the making. Working directly in 3D and procedural tools, he develops imagery that blends design thinking with technical experimentation, often exploring new ways motion, form, and systems can interact.
Over the years he has collaborated with studios, brands, and creative teams to deliver design-led animation and cinematic visuals across film, advertising, and brand storytelling. His role often sits between concept and execution: helping define the visual direction while ensuring the craft holds up at every frame.
A large part of his practice is driven by curiosity. Outside of commissioned work he regularly develops personal experiments and procedural studies, exploring new approaches to motion, generative systems, and emerging visual techniques.
At its core, Grant’s work is about building distinctive visual languages — ideas that feel cohesive, purposeful, and built to live across modern screens and formats.
He is currently open to collaborations, studio partnerships, and creative opportunities where thoughtful design and strong craft are central to the work.
